Editing

At the bottom of each post that you have already posted, you will see several boxes on the left side, and one of those is for editing your post. Due to a person that would come back and remove all of his posts from the middle of threads, there is now a time limit on editing. I think it is an hour, but anytime you see the edit button, you can edit.
As far as turning a picture, I am not sure if you can do that. You might have to delete the picture, change the size and then repost it. If not, then @Ken Anderson will fix the picture if you message him about it.
You can use the report function, and ask for picture to be turned.

As one of the greeters/moderators here, I can also make edits for you if it is past the allowed time for editing your post, but I can’t change the picture to right side up.

 

I've noticed that the Edit timeout is rather fast, but I understand the reason.

No matter how short or how long, there will be upsides and downsides to it. The only thing I hate is having grammatical errors I notice after the timeout live on in perpetuity.

 

It is currently set at four hours, and it's been a four hours for a long time. Everytime I increase it, someone goes nuts on me and deletes a bunch of stuff, which breaks the threads in that replies to deleted posts no longer make any sense.

 

Yeh, it's all good.

When I was working, I'd read stuff I had written a long time ago (and that had no current applicability), wishing I had chosen different phrasing or words.

 

I know how you feel about typos. Either myself or either of our other greeters would be happy to make edits for you if you come across them after the editing period is over, as long as we're not asked to change the content of the post.
