If you haven't watched this movie, a true story, then it is a must. It explains how Elvis tried to help expose those that were indoctrinating the youth with "commie" music. Perhaps Nixon should have taken him more seriously. The photo of Elvis and Nixon is the most requested photo of any president. I never realized that Elvis was such a patriot. The King suspected that the Grateful Dead and others were putting socialist ideas in the minds of the USA youth. I never liked the Grateful Dead. I was never a hippy. Just saying so Elvis can rest in peace knowing that guitar girl at the blues festival in the late 70s was a gun-slinging patriot. I went by the stage name Della and the other girls in the group, all married with babies, were known as the Diaper Changers. Della and The Diaper Changers was a one-time novelty act and only did the festival on insistence from a friend and Blues Hall of Fame bluesman that was friends with Elvis. May they both rest in peace.

We just watched it, it was ok but not sure it represented Elvis correctly. Still interesting, worth watching. Thanks Faye.

I watched it, too. It was interesting; but I also thought it portrayed Elvis very poorly, and made him look overly dramatic, and not anyone who could have been made an undercover agent. I have read before that Elvis was acually asked by the government to help out, since he had the perfect cover with his travels and shows all over; but I think the movie was just entertainment.
