    Environmental Social Governance

ESG is being promoted as the new economic platform for the world. Already, we're seeing companies making decisions that seem to be against their own profit motive, and it seems that they are moving toward ESG.

It's not long, but this is an informative video about ESG, which is heavily promoted by BlackRock, a multinational investment corporation profiting from public-private deals with governments throughout the world, including the US Federal Reserve System, and considered by some to be the largest shadow bank in the world.

The idea is for profits to no longer be the primary goal of companies, but for businesses to focus less on profits and more on social issues, which, as we know, can be controlled by worldwide leftist politics, generally to the advantage of the very rich and the elite.

By the way, for those who read the Ancestry.com thread, BlackRock is associated with the Blackstone Group, which is about to purchase Ancestry.com.

One of the Chinese ministers once said they would use race and environment to take down the West. I suspect this is just another step in that direction.

Here's a very interesting example about the issue involving Netflix:

    Here's a summary:

Blackrock is one of the largest asset managers in the states (they handle the assets of many people who want to invest in all sorts of businesses), handling something like a third of all U.S. assets.

Larry Fink, CEO, wants businesses to promote social issues, and will invest only in businesses that do. The level of promotion will be seen in their ESG scores.

Netflix needs to get or make new shows each time to attract more subscribers and retain them, and they need that because the costs of getting or making shows are high. They can only do that if they can get more investments, and they can do that only if they have high ESG scores. That's why their shows are very "woke," depicting homosexuality, minorities, etc., in a positive light.

That's also why organizations ranging from the U.S. Army to Nike have been going woke, too.

Given that, what made Fink go woke? I found this article:

    https://nypost.com/2022/02/19/larry-fink-as-wall-st-dr-evil-woke-within-reason/

Apparently, he supports "stakeholder capitalism," or the belief that businesses need to care for more than just profits for their owners. In the same article, Fink is depicted as someone who falls between predatory capitalism with very few regulations and modern monetary theory, or capitalism with lots of regulations: he wants capitalists to regulate themselves.

What's the problem with that in this case? Netflix is losing subscribers because most people don't want too much wokeness. Meanwhile, for organizations like the NFL, revenues have ironically gone up even as they became more woke.

Wokeness didn't make this a great nation, [ actually it was the exact opposite of wokeness that did.] But it has destroyed it. Hope they enjoy the after effects of this insanity.

We cancelled Netflix the same day they had a picture of Jesus as a tranny homosexual on it.
Ypou can bet they would never use a picture of Islamic decipel as they shouldn't use any religious Holy person in such a degenerate way.

Par for the course! My heart hurts for the younger generation.

In the past, only whites with land were allowed to vote. Later, whites without land were allowed to do so. Decades later, non-whites were allowed to vote, together with women, and finally 18-year-olds, and only because people discovered to Americans were old enough to be sent to war but not old enough to vote.

FWIW, those look like woke views to me.

Not the same thing at all. So are saying just because of injustice several decades ago people should be able to do whatever they want to children or make fun of sacred beliefs? Do you think grown men in dresses should be able to roll around on the floor with little children? Or parade little 6-year-old boys around doing vulgar acts aka " tweaking" for grown men
Or liberals and democrats should burn down cities kill innocent people, steal from small business with no consequences at all?

You may define it however you like, but it only makes sense if you consider gender confusion, pro-pedophilia policies, and the rest of the nonsense that's going on today to be positive moves. Perhaps you do. I don't know,

By "wokeness," I'm referring to social justice, not snowflake views.
