I was looking at a coin set of my unit and noticed the Gunship coin had the APO on the bottom of the coin and "quoted" what should have been Province. Instead of the Province it was written using the Vietnamese language for warning referring to the spinning tail rotor which is about top of head height for a typical Vietnamese male that was painted on all the tail booms. The Brigade had so many deaths due to the little guys walking in under the tail rotor while loading onto the troop ships. That was the birth of the warning painted on all the ships. Our Province location was Ba Xuyen Province which should have been on the APO listing.
