I'll be having this for lunch. I'm so glad I found this recipe about a year ago.

Simple as anything... make your favorite coffee (strong probably works better, but I use whatever I have).. add a packet of Stevia if you want... it's not necessary if you don't use it. Put into an ice cube tray.

When frozen, add some coffee cubes (5 or 6 for me) to a glass and add a cup of unsweetened Silk Cashew Milk. (It's great, I like it better than almond milk, and the unsweetened is 25 calories per CUP... more calcium than milk.)

That's it! Just let the cubes start to melt to get the coffee flavor fused with the milk.

To make this a frappuccino, crush the coffee cubes first (at least that's what the recipe said... I haven't tried it that way yet... no need to when the cubes make it so refreshing and I can't really see how that would thicken it very much.) Anyhow, just 25 calories for the whole shebang, and a LOT of calcium. :D

Sounds good, haven't seen cashew milk though, I have on occasion used almond milk.

It sounds good, but I don't have any ice cube trays. I would have to buy one special for the project. It does sound good though, as many of those coffee drinks are loaded with milk, sugar and fat. On the rare occassion that I do get a coffee drink from Starbucks, I usually just the straight stuff and add my own milk, cream sweetner or whatever. It is a lot fewer calories.

It's in the refrigerated section with the milk, @Chrissy Page , not with the shelf stable almond milks, if you want to look for it. Let's see if I can find a link. Here's one, with a picture.

I see they also have coconut milk, but I always go for the unsweetened cashew... why have 90 kcals if I can have 25? The unsweetened is, for some reason, plenty sweet for me, and I have the world's biggest sweet tooth. :)

No wonder I haven't seen it, I seldom look in the milk section. :)

I've only used almond milk to wet my fiber one cereal. I'm a milk hater.

I don't like coconut flavor in water but I love the coconut outshine bars....I'm weird.

I do like cashew and almond butter though.

Hey sounds very good! Especially this summer time drink will come in handy to keep cool and stay trim. Thanks! I love iced coffee sweet like a cappuccino or latte. I mix my Folgers with Kona coffee and it's so delicious. I substitute half of the Folgers with my Kona coffee. I only use one tablespoon of Kona coffee with one and a half scoops of Folgers. It tastes so smoother than just Folgers.
