As all of us in this forum are seniors, we realize, even without reading glasses, that our looks are fading away. Are you accepting it or considering plastic surgery or other means to regain your physical beauty? This is for men as well as woman. Myself, I am 69 and think I look a bit younger, but even if I looked my age or more, I would just accept it.
I'm in my early 60s and already I have lines all over face. I'm not in the slightest bit bothered about it. It shows that I've always lived a healthy outdoor life and my skin has been exposed to a lot of weather conditions and I never bought into lotions and creams to put on my skin. If I had surgery on my face, which I would never do, I would still have old hands, so anyone could see that I'm no longer young. Some people say I look younger. I don't know if that's true or not but I don't mind looking my real age. I'm in good physical health and I have more stamina than some people half my age, so I'm not worried about getting older.
I don't think I would ever consider cosmetic surgery of any kind, unless I was in an accident and had a horribly disfiguring injury. I guess I'm just not that vain. This is me, accept it or not. I'm not 20 anymore, I don't need to look like I am. There are many risks to cosmetic surgery - look at Joan Rivers. Plus, I've seen some awful cosmetic work. I would much rather look old, but natural than smooth but like an artificial doll.
I am not that concerned with a few wrinkles on my face, I do want my skin to look healthy and reflect the way I feel about myself. I know how old I am and what it took for me to be able to say I am healthy and able to do a lot that people 10 years younger them me can not do. No surgery but I will use the creams to help out with looking a few years younger.
