i doubt you would have been in one of my classes. I taught ESL to Adults and some Remedial for native speakers.I was not one of those literature guys but rather helped students with practical survival skills. Need to prepare a resume or an essay to get into college? I am your guy.I taught descriptive grammar, which means if everybody does it, then you can too. Even had lessons in vulgar words and what they mean.

 

I don't really know where in Brooklyn, I don't have their addresses.

Mitakuye Oyasin is the phrase in Lakota that means We are all Related, sometimes interpreted as All my relations. It is used much like Namaste or Aloha as a salutation, with spiritual connotation.

Welcome aboard Mark-----I used to go with my dad from Paterson to Jersey City when he made sales calls 1944 -45.

 

I used to make deliveries in Paterson from 1995 to 2003. It is really run downand dangerous now. what was it like then?

Yes. Several times. Our Smokies are quite beautiful in the fall. Well, at other times, too, but I like them best in the fall.

 

Paterson during WW2 was not bad. I lived near Lou Costello's family. I moved to Colorado with my mother in 1947. I've been back several times and very glad I don't live there.
