http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/top-5-world-news-websites-guaranteed-free-censorship/ I came across this website "bragging" that they know the top 5 world websites that are guaranteed free from censorship. So I thought I would share the link to the website and see if any of you think they do have the "bragging" rights to these sites? I know I'm sick of watching all the lies on the TV News channels. It's gotten so I see what our local weather is going to be like...and then I turn off the TV or change the station to one that is not showing the News. The TV News channels not only lie, but they fail to report the News we should be hearing about too. What happened to the intergrity of Journalists who couldn't wait to dig for the truth so they could be the first one to report it? To many have sold their souls to the highest bidder or become puppets to keep their jobs, etc. They are no longer tell the truth so they might as well go work for the Enquirer, etc. Anyway, I hope the link above does have some real truth to it, that would be a nice change after all the lies. @Ken Anderson I'd appreciate your input on this too.
The Associated Press The AP certainly isn't the worst of the lot but they have a liberal bias, which may not be by institutional decree but due to the fact that most news reporters are steeped in leftist philosophy. In other words, they may report it as they see it, but they see it through liberal eyes. The Wall Street Journal The Wall Street Journal is probably the least biased of the mainstream media. They do have a lot of biased articles but the bias seems to go in more than one direction. Then again, the WSJ focuses on business and economics. Google News I wouldn't trust anything from Google. Even the Google search engine is continuously tweaked so as to give the advantage to leftists. Google News doesn't publish its own news but I wouldn't trust a Google algorithm to be unbiased. BBC I find the BBC to be slightly less biased when it comes to US news than most of the American media, but then the Russian or Chinese government media outlets are less biased than the US media when it comes to American news. Reuters I haven't paid much attention to Reuters. Given that they don't have as much of a stake in American politics as the US media, they might be less biased but I don't have an opinion. As for the honorable mentions... Al Jazeera -- Never really looked at it much. C-Span -- There's nothing better than watching the hearings for yourself and making up your own mind, which is what C-Span allows you to do. NPR -- Among the most liberal of the liberal. NPR can't even present a comedy routine without constant jabs at conservatives. Christian Science Monitor -- I used to like them but haven't paid attention to the CSM lately. I had a subscription once and liked it. Pew Research -- I have always considered them to be liberal but I can't say that I've paid much attention to them.
Well I guess the "bragging" rights are biased then! But it least it has given me some places to go other than the completely biased places I have been too!
