I didn't see a section for Freebies, so I figured I'd post this here. I occasionally stumble across freebies and this one seems interesting. I've heard of various detox methods, but this seems the least invasive, so I signed up to try them. I thought I'd share here, in case anyone else is interested in trying them out. The product is detox foot pads. Click the green Get This Offer button if you'd like to sign up to receive them.

Um... I ordered them. I think. :( They got my info but all it said was "thank you for joining our mailing list." Anyhow, I don't generally mess with freebies, but my daughter has mentioned these detox pads for feet a few times, so she'll get them if they actually come. :D

I don't like a lot of these freebie sites, because most of them just it seems want to spam your inbbox with stuff you neither need or want, it seems like the good offers are invariably time limited, and then when I get there, they are no longer offering them. THis seems to happen time and time again. I guess I always see the offers when it is too late it seems!

@Mari North , doesn't the liver detox your body? What comes out of your feet?

Thanks I drink detox tea and I like teas rather than freebie things for as I noticed they don't come, so I wonder where does the information go to. Be careful of freebies, or any place that wants your information. Check the reviews and norton safeweb check too. Take care.

I think that is good advice Kristina. I tend to stay clear of most freebie sites, as I said, I think most are come ons to get your information, and the goods don't usually materialize. I am going to read some freebie site reviews...this morning, because this whole thread has gotten me curious about freebie sites, and which ones are rated highly, and more useful.

Darned if I know, Chrissy... but I've seen those ads where the people take the patches off their feet and they're nearly black... disgusting to me, but if it's true, that's junk from the body. Personally I have no idea what it would be or how it would work... the concept is cool but I'm a natural-born cynic and often things that we wonder about do actually turn out to be quackery or a scam to lure the unsuspecting. We'll see if they arrive and then I'll ask her more about it. @Chrissy Page

I don't know if they'll arrive, but I have received freebies that I've signed up for through that I Love Freebies site, which is where I found that link. If I don't receive something I've signed up for after a reasonable amount of time, I send the emails I receive from that company to Spam, or if I have a little extra energy that day, I'll unsubscribe, but sometimes that process can be a loop, and just frustrates me.

I love freebies. I get a lot of mine lately through Pinch Me. It's a site where you receive samples, then go back and leave a short feedback statement about your experience with the product. Here's my link if anyone wants to try it out, or you can just go to Pinch Me and sign up. I've received quite a few things from them, and they don't hound you to share everything you do on your social sites. They send you reminder emails so you don't forget to leave feedback. I also sometimes try products through other companies, but nothing big, mainly personal care products, frozen dinners, etc.
