@Joybelle Rowe it’s just as well we’ve got some Aussies in here to educate our dear game playing friends isn’t it I’m afraid you are very welcome to your Broad beans neither hubby or I like them , the only good thing I can say about them is they are good for putting nutrients into the soil for future plantings of other veggies. Kerosene!!!!!!!! I think you need to get your taste buds tested dearest Kate lol I mainly steam them Shirley and serve them as a side veg. They are great in stews, salads and soups as well.
My snow flowers aren't doing that well as we had snow and then it melted, however the seeds are still in good shape so when it snows again they will bloom..... I think that winter has finally arrived as they are calling for cold weather daily and snow this week-end.. What i would like is extreme cold for about 10 or more days.. I mean like -30c to -35c mark... That would be welcomed BIG time.. Snow after that would also be welcomed and I mean lots of snow !!!
NO, and after my stomach operation last year, all beans are a No-No for me as they cause lots of gas in my system.. However on the other side, NO I don't think I ever heard of broad beans unless we call them by another name... Are they like a fava bean ???
