I played a few games just to take my mind out of the lousy situation we have here.. One of the hardest things in life is when a parent has to bury one of their children......... It is supposed to be the other way around where they bury you.........
Steve, when I was going through a lot of emotional pain, I found that it helped to come online and play with friends. It took my mind off the heartache for at least that little while.

Poor Kate.... We up here when we are going to have a cold blast can have temperatures as low as -50c with violent winds.. Actually last night it was -3c up here which means we are still getting a frost at night.. Still too early to plant out vegetable plants in the garden..
Steve your weather is simular to Maine's weather, we are the last state to get the warm weather, Maine does boarder sooooo... our summers were short and the winters were long!!!!!! My hubby's mom and dad were born and raised in Quebec , Canada, if you looked to see our last name in the phone book you would be surprised!! Pages and pages.!!! Maine has 24 land border crossings along the 611 miles it shares with Quebec and New Brunswick, !!
Today is the 25th of May.... last night we had ..................... SNOW !!!!.... Naturally it didn't last, but still it .............. SNOWED !!!..... That means it was cold enough for it to ..... SNOW ...
We had buckets of rain yesterday , hubs haven’t measured it yet course he measures at 9 am and it’s only 8 am right now We have metal roof verandah right outside of the family room door and the rain was heavy we couldn’t hear the TV with the door shut
yes, a metal roof makes it very noisy, i recall when we lived in Louisianna , we lived in a trailer and it had a metal roof and down that far south your bound to get rain almost every day , but the rain does not really last to long ,, thank goodness,,,, and the summers are even Hotter then where we live now in Tennessee!
It’s normally pretty hot here in summer ( Winter here now ) it last summer it was so cool we didn’t even turn our air conditioner on
