It went OK but the pooch still needs lots and lots of discipline.. The trainer will be coming back every week for a while.. The dog is getting better, but slowly.. as soon as we get him neutered on the first of May, things will start to improve.. Meanwhile our patience is rather thin, considering our age....
We realize that slowly the pooch is getting better.. Patience will do it.. He is extremely affectionate but, a bit wild at times.. Getting less wild as time goes on.. He wants to put everything in his mouth because he is still teething..... This too shall pass.. I am up and i played some games till it is time to go back to sleep.. Bye everyone and have a great day...
I am here now at just after 5:30am and all alone... It actually snowed yesterday and last night giving about 10cms of the lovely white stuff.. Way too late, but still welcomed.. The temperature has been way above normal with 10c last week and only -5c today... Again, way too late for the cold weather.. There isn't a single lake around here that is safe to go on let alone frozen at all.. All of the ice fishing tournaments have been cancelled.. All of the snowmobile trails are closed due to lack of snow.. This isn't a good winter for our village at all.. Every business is suffering from lack of $$$.. We will survive for sure, but the extra income would of helped as it always does..
We are going away very early on Friday , heading for our Capital city of Australia ( again) till Mid March. We have plans to travel via Victoria however they have a major fire burning in a huge national park that’s effecting some of the towns we will be staying at or passing through so we may need a change the direction we take, to travel up the coast to stay with DH sister and BIL for a couple of days prior to getting to Canbera ( 2 hour drive from DH sisters home ) We expect to be on the road for a week so I will be relying on my phone for internet catch up when I can
Kate, don't forget to take pictures. Maybe you could take Aussie Edwin with you and take some pictures of him to show Mia.
Look at this for a storm that Victoria got last night …this happened along with a huge fire in a national park not far from where we expect to travel through on Friday and Saturday this week, I believe they have manger to restore some power but it was reported up to 500.000 were left without power and it may be weeks before some are fixed Let’s hope they get the national park fire under control today as the strong winds have subsided a bit to assist fire fighters https://www.9news.com.au/national/v...victoria/3cdd39ee-9648-4c53-80f0-14f9043539e1
We will survive , if it’s smoky at our first or second stop…. which will be around a town calked Bendigo we will keep moving as we are heading up the NSW coast from Vic , and some of the town may not have power. We’ve been to that area before including the national park that’s on fire , in fact I bought my bedroom windows curtains in Bendigo while our home was being built almost 18 years ago ( I’ve just binned the curtains cause they went rotten from afternoon sun ) and we’ve had windows tinted
