Glenn Miller story is one of my favorite movies, mostly because of his music. Love his music.https://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play?p=glenn+miller+story&back=https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=glenn+miller+story&ei=UTF-8&fp=1&fr=&fr=yfp-t-901&turl=http://ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=WN.olpi11i11sDfdNAL8qy9iw&pid=15.1&rurl=http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/video/456228/Glenn-Miller-Story-The-Reissue-Trailer-.html&tit=Glenn+Miller+Story,+The+-+(Reissue+Trailer)&l=153&vid=9e8ca1533cdebc5663b1402fdf18eb49&sigr=12mvd3a19&sigb=122r277an&sigt=11bfoemiu&sigi=11v4mj54u
Hmm, I couldn't get the clip to work. I think maybe @Ike Willis is jamming my wifi signal! I don't think I've ever seen the movie, but I do like his music. I don't listen to music much these days, but when I was listening to music a lot, I would play a nice mix of genres, and his was always in there.
Of course, he's going to claim he didn't do it, @Diane Lane . Seems like a story to me; he is obviously right here in the vicinity of the link that won't work.....right ?
Hi Diane, I wonder if they have it on you tube? It's such a good and sad movie, , see if you can click on the link it has the entire movie
Thanks, @Rachel Rodarte I'm keeping a tab open with that, hopefully I can watch it later. I wondered whether it was available there, it seems more movies are these days, which is nice. Thanks for posting it .
I watched it yesterday, it was really good. Hopefully at some point, I can see it on the big screen (one of my TVs), rather than the desktop monitor. Normally, I would have hooked the laptop to the television, but the it's not working right now. I saw that the person who uploaded that movie has others, so I've subscribed to the channel.
I have always enjoyed the Big Band Music area. Even as a kid I listened to Glenn Miller's music and others like Jimmy Dorsey. The big bands were the godfathers of jazz.
Hi Diane, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. There is another movie, don't know if you seen it or not, "Imitation of Life" It's a good movie, always makes me cry. "A struggling young actress with a six-year-old daughter sets up housekeeping with a homeless black widow and her light-skinned eight-year-old daughter who rejects her mother by trying to pass for white." Director: Douglas Sirk Writers: Eleanore Griffin (screenplay), Allan Scott(screenplay), 1 more credit ยป Stars: Lana Turner, John Gavin, Sandra Dee
