Hi Allison...thank you so much for posting this amazing story. I`m happy that these two sweet dogs were adopted together...now they`ll be in their forever home. :)

    Oh my! Really touching indeed.

Poor dogs, not just these, but all those homeless that have not other way than being put to sleep.

Glad you both enjoyed them. I just adopted two retired ragdoll breeding cats. I think they were going to be put to sleep because the owner died and her daughter couldn't keep them. They were so neglected and their fur all matted. It was terrible. I had them groomed with the lion cut. It will grow back in. I had to go short to get rid of all the matts and dry skin........they are so happy now. I don't think they have ever played before, they love to play.... These two cats think they own the place already and it has only been about 2 weeks. I love them dearly. Now I run the Allison Old Age Home for Cats. :p

I am so glad I was able to take both, they belong together. One is the mother and one the daughter. It was very sad for me when I saw them but now they are going to be just fine.

This is a sweet story, its nice to know that these two dogs got adopted together. They obviously shared a strong bond and its nice that they can stay together in their new home. Sad thing is though for every pet that is adopted there are those still waiting for a home. Shelters still are over flowing with pets in need of homes.

I wish I had a big farm house with lots of land, I would take in all the dogs and cats who need homes.
