I'm from N.Florida ,married mother of 3 grandmother of 13,with 15 greatgrands. We were doing gardening although we slacked off in last 3 years. Use to argue politics but gave up on that insanity this past year. We have a few hens for eggs and on old dog.

We lived in Jacksonville, Florida for 10 1/2 years. In 2019, we moved back to Colorado and, for us, don't miss Jacksonville or Florida at all. It's a beautiful state for many, but not for everyone. We'll endure snow/cold/snowstorms and blizzards much better than the tropical storms and hurricanes we had. Erma went right over us and Mathew's outer bands hit us as well.
Al, I am hoping you mean you lost 2 pets but are you saying children? I didn't want to ask but not ignore either.
Welcome from the middle of Virginia, Marie. I'm single, no kids. Have been in the state (right outside of DC) since the early 60s, and moved to this rural area in 2010. You'll enjoy being here...good group of folks.
