It appears Don Lemon, who some say is the dumbest guy on network news, has finally been suspended for saying a woman isn't in her prime after age 40 and shouldn't hold office after that age...at least that is how many women interpreted his recent comments on Nikki Haley. Even women's groups on the Left inundated CNN with outrage. He did back Hillary however, and he gives ol' Joe a pass.
I heard of this on news this morning. I am outraged myself, that any dumb ass person would go to such an extreme over a comment that was- just that- a comment about a momentary feeling. But yet suggestive, sexual, gang related talk about murder and drugs etc. in Rap songs , people seem fine with.
I'm not a Lemon fan so I really couldn't care less. I have to say that I don't understand the "outrage" over his comments, though. People seem to get outraged over the stupidest crap nowadays.
I think he has been on a thin wire for a while. That is why he was taken from prime time to the morning show, but apparently his so-host doesn't like him much either, and reportedly she fled the studio at some point and took the crew with her. He also was reported to have been involved in some controversy about sticking his hand down some guy's pants in a bar or something.
Heck, his buddy cuomo will give him a job. Two losers to waste more air time. How about that other white haired poof Anderson on another network. Lemon's opportunities are many with his experience in a bath house. The networks pretty much cleared out all the predators that were making like terrible for the females, then all of a sudden there was nothing left but the Poof Patrol.
I think what outrages even the liberal women is that he said a 51 year old woman is past her prime. Most of the Democrat nationally elected women officials are way past 51.... Kamalho, Pelosi, the two older than sin nutcase women from California.
He isn’t particularly famous for doing any detailed research but if he had, he would have known that those stats are regarding childbirth. Again, if he spoke in context of what “prime” meant, then he could have backtracked and said that a woman running after her prime is a good thing since having a child whilst in office could be viewed as a burden. Of course, someone probably would have been offended by that too but it would have definitely seemed more informed and less misogynistic.
