I just bought a new recumbent exercise bike. It’s a Schwinn 230. If anyone is considering buying one, I did a lot of research and settled on this. Recumbents are easier on your knees than regular style bikes. (I have a recumbent trike for outside, too,) and this one is good for seniors because you don’t have to lift your leg over to sit down. The area in front of the seat is flat, so you just walk in and sit. It seems the stuff that makes one exercise bike more expensive than the next is all the electronic bells and whistles they add to the more expensive ones. All I wanted is one with a few different programs.
Sounds like a nice bike, Jan. I have an entire room full of exercise equipment that I wish I could unload. I never use the elliptical nor the big treadmill anymore, though I occasionally use my mini-trampoline and exercise bike. I call that room "the loneliest room in the house."
