    Basura is the Filipino word for trash or garbage. That family thrives on the recycling of trash like old newspapers and bottles that they get from the trash bins in the city.

    Well, this is the second encounter of my husband with that family. After some months, my husband again met that family in the wooden cart. But that time, there was a new stroller. Daniel said that he bought the stroller for 1,800 pesos (more than $40). And he bragged that his children are voracious eaters that they spend 200 (about $5) pesos just for the snacks. So unlike the first time when my husband handed money to Daniel, this time he left with just a goodbye.

    This pretty much made me sick, seeing these people, and I didn't like every term Tucker used, but is this the answer?? Something needs to be done, but I think I could come up with a better idea, yep, even I could. What we need is for the drug addicted to go into custody and be in addiction recovery centers. Why can't all those millions/billions be spent on Medical facilities??

    Maybe this is just all a lie about giving people safe places to use their drugs, who knows anymore:
