I don't know where my husband got that idea of taking a teaspoon of honey in the morning. But it is effective for his digestive system, honey is a good prevention of constipation, according to him. When I am constipated, I would take honey on the next morning and I would be fine in the toilet.

The honey is taken right after waking up. That is before brushing the teeth. In fact, my husband doesn't brush his teeth in the morning because the honey stabilizes his mouth and he said that honey is even better than brushing the teeth or gargling for it gives the mouth a natural pleasant odor.

I have to believe him for he has been taking honey in the morning for more than 5 years now. Think of the toothpaste that we have saved.

Hmmm, sounds good, but I'll stick to Sensodyne Pronamal in the mornings before I eat. Honey is a very good health food for many things like soothing a sore throat and this is the first time I've ever read about it being good for the teeth.
