This week hot, in the high 80's. Next week nice in the 70's. Unless it changes, which it does.

Supposed to get to the high 90's today with 75% humidity, but at least the sun is shining for a change.

Still cool and rainy. A sad, cold summer for sure. At least we had few wildfires in this area.

Down to 38 F. this morning. New snow on the mountains nearby. Hopefully this is just a fluke and not the beginning of a long-term trend. Damn that global warming!

    Gladly!
I know we are not Phoenix AZ at 115 degrees (for which I am grateful) But today, after a thunderstorm last nite, it is supposed to be in the 90's for a day. I am about to take a shower but I am not sure why.

You can grow radishes. peas and cruciferous stuff. If it is any comfort, the forecast has changed from in the 90's to 80's today and the humidity was down. I did not get heat stroke working on weeds.

Those are our primary crops @Mary Stetler , but we can also grow squashes/pumpkins, especially if we use a low tunnel to get them started. The true warm weather stuff--tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers--we grow mostly in a greenhouse. We pre-start almost everything since our soil is too cold to germinate a lot of stuff until late June. Potatoes grow well here too.

Oh. OK, I thought you were concerned with the cold weather keeping you from growing stuff this year. Like our extreme rainy weather screwed up our season.

Thanks @Mary Stetler for sending some warmth this way! It got up to 73 F. yesterday and may get that warm again today before it returns to cold and wet.
