No I’m in South Australia 2 hours drive from the city of Adelaide ,I’ll have to look at previous posts just incase my IPad decided to put Perth instead of Adelaide Perth is 3.000 km from where we live @Denise Happyfeet The huge 2 days storm we’ve just had came down the coast from Perth Western Aust Capitals is Perth ..had a huge cyclone brewing off shore not long ago ….. that didn’t make it to land and all this horrible humid / wet weather is the tail end of that cyclone Perth had off shore .
Headed to probably below zero again tonight, and cold the whole week. We had an easy winter up until a couple of weeks ago. But, here we are.
We have been out of the state for about a week, and the thaw continues--45 F. when we arrived tonight. Our furnace went out on Friday while we were gone and it was reported to us by the house sitter. Apparently the blower motor shorted out. The sitter fired up the wood stove and it has been going since. Fortunately it has been warm, so it isn't a big deal. The blower is supposed to get replaced tomorrow, and the thaw is predicted to end on Tuesday or Wednesday whit temps back near 0 F. once again.
Our weather is about to change. We have a Winter Weather Advisory starting tonight at 11PM thru tomorrow at 11AM. Up to 4 inches of snow and 9 degrees in the morning.
No, you didn't make a mistake I know of Kate, when I tried to see what 3.0 km were in miles, it came up "close" to one mile, and I can't remember now how in the world I got Perth, LOL!!

66 degreees outside, clears skies, sun beaming down. I sat outside for an hour While our help fried up two pounds of Potters Hot Sausage to be frozen and the thawed as needed to use on sausage biscuits with some hot sauce. Frying sausage gets in my lungs and shuts me down. I wads wearing a mask but had to split outside for some fresh air. It's going to turn cooler for a few days again and those sausage biscuits will taste dandy. Let it be known that in c central Oklahoma, the weather today is like we like it.
