Release in 2018. I've watched a number of military movies, including The Hunt For Red October, The Green Beret (John Wayne), To Hell and Back (real story about Audi Murphy), but the Navy submarine movie Hunter Killer would probably be at the top of my "Best" list. Since I was in the Navy (Nam Era), I know about Navy stuff. Not necessarily subs, but Officer and Enlisted ratings and other things. The movie is like an "on the edge of your seat" type.
Sounds good. I looked at our library's online catalog and they have it so I'll check it out. I'm almost done watching Aquaman with Amber Heard. The Depp/Heard trial got me interested in what she's done. It's full of CGI and too long at 2 hours and 40 minutes. Alien Covenant is another I have checked out.
We're always looking fro another movie to watch. Don't usually watch too violent ones but last night watched Delta Force" again" already saw it when it first came out.But I liked the stars in it too.
One of the best First Made movies about Vietnam was with Burt Lancaster playing an aging Army officer in charge of a training detachment who knew all too well what was about to go down years later.."Go Tell The Spartans" era mid 50s when there was only a handful of Military advisors being hung out and used. In glorious black n white.
