There are lots of places that I would like to go but my travel days are behind me now. It was a great perk during my active retirement years.
These domestic flights are very particular about luggage. I was in a bind when I flew international to Australia and then had to take a domestic flight from Melbourne to Perth.
We may be flying this coming December...........to Las Vegas for a major rodeo. If we fly during daylight hours, we can see The Rockies below us. At night, all we see are tiny little lights. I always get a window seat. And, pretty much everyone on the jet know why we are going to Vegas. How? We are wearing our cowboy hats.
We were in Vegas one time for a WPT Championship. Got to meet some of the players, as they arrive to the hotel/casino to play.
The Rockies (Rocky Mountains) are east of Vegas. From where we live, leave out of DIA (Denver International Airport) and fly direct to Vegas.
NO I'm a bit like Lou as have becoming inactive over the winter and would not like that 11 hour flight. My only hobby is Poker and the London casinos have opened up again, am lucky because in England we are allowed to play online so theses winter months have not been so bad. Might just might go again if the restrictions are lifted in both are countries. I was going to go last June when the Golden Nugget had their month long poker festival on but because the virus had to cancel.
I love Air New Zealand. I have flown with United Air Lines/American Air Lines/South West Airlines/Hawaiian Air Lines/
Well some of the airlines I have flown aren't in service any more -- Northwest, Pan Am, TWA. I've flown Alaska and Frontier a lot. United, Delta, and American once in a while. And USAF transport a couple times when I was on emergency leave, plus an 8 seat puddle jumper from KC, MO to Lawrence KS. I think I also once flew Lufthansa. Forgot to add a favorite -- don't really have one anymore. Used to be Frontier, but air travel in general is just an over crowded bus in the sky now and only appealing on long international flights in first class.
While working I did a lot of business travel, so I've been on many different airlines. Honestly I can't say I had a "favorite airline." Glad I don't have to fly anymore with all the craziness.
Delta, United, American, Eastern, Quantas, Thai Smile, Spirit, Continental, Latam, Royal Thai, East China Airlines Quantas was probably my favorite but I’ve heard that Qatar is top notch. I plan on flying them one day so I’ll let you know after I do so.
