I feel that he is too cavalier and not as serious about the Pandemic as I would like him to appear. Nevertheless, he gets my vote! Hal
I intensely dislike the man and there's no "but" about that. He's holding a big rally tomorrow 3 miles from my house (thankfully I'm 400 miles away) and masks will be "encouraged".....mind you, not "required". Has he learned nothing from his bout with Covid or has his giant inflated ego taken over completely? I wonder how many Covid cases will result from this fiasco.
Would be interesting to know why or what you like about Trump? Is it a single issue or the complete election program? If generally positive, is there still something you feel critical about? I'm asking because it's does not always become sufficiently clear to me while having to read between the lines mostly.
You don't have to like your plumber, mechanic or doctor. Only care about what kind of work they do. What do you dislike of Trump's accomplishments?
When he first threw his hat in the ring, I like what his plans were for the solving of health insurance. He felt that the companies should compete with one another as in the days of yore and better yet, cross state lines. I also like that he was going after the corruption in D.C., which to my thinking meant getting rid of the corporate hounds who send their lobbyists to line the pockets of our members of the entire Congress. The media along with career politicians ran scared, dreamed up this phony collusion nonsense with Russia which derailed everyone and everything that was good in this country. When that failed, along came not only Corona, but a bunch of malcontents fueled by the media attacking anyone who had a business. Now, without going into further detail, "The Donald" was pulled every which way with all sorts of misinformation, and he was labeled every evil name in the book. How can anyone expect someone to act like a dignified President when all he hears are slurs slung at him? Of course, being a New Yorker, he slung right back. He was called a racist and divisive of this country.. Let me tell you, in no time after Obama was elected, the divisiveness began and big time. When Obama said his white grandmother felt she had to cross the street when she saw a black man coming her way, it was underway and blew up much later to become President Trump's albatross. If people really took the time to research in depth these people, they'd see the truth. It is only superficial nonsense that seems to penetrate the minds of voters these days.
