    "If you don't read the NEWS you are UINFORMED & IF you do read the NEWS you are MISINFORMED" This was certainly true with the recent election and continues to be so.

    Ain't that the truth. I suspect that if Walter Cronkite could see what the news media is doing these days, he would be appalled.

    You really have to weed it out for yourself, as best we can anyway.

    O'Reilly is talking(right now) about how we can never go back to the days of Cronkite, and he's right imo:(

    That made me recall this quote, "“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke.

    Maybe America grew weary of fighting, or maybe things really did get to good, too comfy. But I believe this is all it took for much of our country to transform into an abomination. I think those good people are no longer "doing nothing".
