The topic isn’t actually my idea because I heard the question posed on a show I was listening to but I liked it so here ya go. There are probably thousands of unanswered questions in this world that will probably never be answered but maybe, just maybe opening up some dialog about them might provide new info or theories on the matters. For me, I dunno. I have so many unanswered questions I could choose from so to pinpoint just one is hard to do. I guess most of my questions revolve around the metaphysical world in which all the answers are considered to be objects of faith so that’s out. Maybe….did Job really exist? Theologians have fought over the subject for hundreds of years. Was he real and did all the events happen or was the Book of Job a product of a Godly man who wrote a perfect book about a man whose faith was highly tested? So….It’s your turn….
Too many questions… What is the cause of Alzheimer’s? Is Garrett Lisi at least on the right track? How to reconcile quantum mechanics with the world as we perceive it? Are dark matter and dark energy real and if so what are they? Will the U.S. survive the next generation?
That is a problem isn’t it? We all have so many questions that it is difficult to focus on just one. Let’s try this. How about picking out what you deem to be the most important and explaining why that is.
What/who is the driving force behind nearly global corruption of the media, and by what mechanism are they controlling it? -For those who can make the right decisions based on the truth, facts are hard to come by. -For those who need to be told what to think, their heads are being filled with destructive garbage rather than with any "greater good" ideologies. So much conflict and destruction is being caused by the lies being fed us and the lack of honest accountability.
I suspect that as far as the United States goes, if the entity controlling our information were called anything other than the Federal Communications Commission, it would be harder to find out than it is.
here's just one study that interests me since I've been on a 1 mg tablet of Clonazepam for 35 years. I took it like it was a vitamin, totally uninformed myself about the drug, although way more info is out there now, years after these drugs started being used for things like anxiety, depression, and other issues. Now it's been found out that the drugs actually cause the same issues. Of course if I'd read the paperwork, at least what I have now, it even states the same. Benzos were NEVER meant for long term use, more like for short term emergency type situations. Now they are being linked to Altheimers, and there are more "diseases" that our GABA Receptors and Glutamate Receptors are taken over by the drugs. Here's just one study from Pub-Med and do know that I am saying benzos are just one drug, or reason, for someone getting Altzheimers or Dementia, or other issues: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25208536/
First thing that comes to my mind is the "love of money". And some of you know where I got that from and those same people know what's behind the love of money.
To keep this, I guess, away from religious topic, I guess I could come up with a question. Ok, I have one, is there anything wrong with our Constitution that we should change?
I can't think of a thing. The issue is with strict enforcement. Not to truncate your conversations, but any "changes" would become as meaningless as "Enumerated Powers" without enforcement.
Is there a rule where I can't ask 2 questions? If so, delete me, I don't care which one What are some excuses given by people who won't get into the inflammatory subjects like politics, religion, and any other they consider inflammatory?
My thought was, and I don't fully understand your comment, but I might get lucky and say something similar, but if good people could change something for the better, then bad people could change something for the worst??
Nope, no real rules that I can think of. So far as the question goes, I believe that most folks who stay out of the hot topics find that everyday life has enough debates without jumping head first into something that rarely leaves one satisfied.
Except I don't think that's the main reason they avoid, same reason I use to avoid it and that was because I wanted to leave it to others to speak for me because I didn't have the courage to put forth my 2 cents. After all, we want everyone to like us right?? Be popular, people-pleasing is a full-time sport for some Maybe AI can take that over for us too, kind of like The Day the Earth Stood still. Well, other movies of coming true we never thought we'd see happen
