    I don't know if this topic has been posted already. I just want to share what I had seen on tv the other night that appliances with the inverter type saves consumption of electricity by turning off the motor when the peak is reached. I cannot fully understand the explanation but that's how I got it. We recently bought a personal fridge from my nephew who is assigned work in the province and what we got was the ordinary fridge because the inverter type is expensive and to our mind, it has no proof of the claims of saving on consumption.

    Maybe someone can elaborate on this.
