If you misunderstood I apologize. I purposely excepted Ken and pointed to none specifically. Integrity,"the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles", is high on my list and my opinion does not reach a level I'm beoing accused of. In view of the chastisement I will take a leave and sabbatical.
I don't want you to take a leave if I misunderstood you @Kalvin Mitnic...I can certainly say I have been misunderstood many times on this Forum. And I apologize if I have misunderstood what you said. I do lots of research before posting and this Robert Mueller quote was an honest mistake. You are not being accused of anything but the feeling that you were accusing some of us for making an honest mistake. Ken and I both said oops...and if I have misunderstood you then I say oops again and please don't go away.
@Martin Alonzo The Whitewater affair was an amazingly well-orchestrated scam involving enormous amounts of money, much of it drug related, and for that particular treasonous escapade alone, both Clintons ought to be castigated and discarded completely. Frank
Hi Kalvin - I hope you stay and continue with your interesting views and posts So what, if we don't agree, hopefully people will say why they don't, to promote discussion (in an adult manner) You've made me laugh too and that's important So, stay - the forum welcomes 'characters' @Kalvin Mitnic
This is one of the many times that a simple PM would have been the more appropriate than an open chastisement of a fellow club member. If we indeed do our research as zealously as we report then there would never be an incident of misread posts, personal attacks nor awkward apologies. In a Biblical sense, are we not instructed to go privately to a person to whom we have ought? Yes, I am off topic but in this case, I have no apologies for it for this is not a simple opinion but absolute fact.
I don't agree with the above quote Bobby. There will always be some misunderstanding because of the way we write things sometimes, nor do I believe that our research will always be perfect either no matter how diligent we are. Yet I do agree the best thing I could have done was to PM @Kalvin Mitnic and ask him to explain the post I took offense at. I was to caught up in the moment to do this and I don't feel it was awkward for either one of us to apologize for any misunderstanding between us. I'm not perfect, but I also have no problem apologizing when I am wrong in my understanding of what someone meant. And by the way I did send @Kalvin Mitnic a PM apology too, and asked him to please not step away from the Forum because of our misunderstanding. Besides doing my best to try to not let something like this happen again...that's all I can do.
We all have post that people disagree with and I have been challenged just as much as anyone but instead of taking offence I learn from it . If we were all to agree it would be nothing but a demonstration of parrots this is like the leftist when they get on a subject.
It would be good that we ALL, when tempted to give a somewhat forceful opinion, should stand back and take a breath or two before pursuing what could be an embarrassing and /or hurtful situation. Sometimes it's hard, speaking for myself, for I have had to take many a very deep breath in both public and internet life. I have to remind myself at all times that opinions are like belly buttons in that we all have one. And like belly buttons which are observed at the beach, there are times when it needs to be covered lest it should get too much sun.
When you search on Mueller's name, it is frequently misspelled without the "e." That said, I have been fooled into passing on false news before, usually when I think I've come across something but am busy doing something else. I look into whatever I'm passing on before doing so, but things will still get past me. I correct it once I figure out that it was wrong. In this case, someone else corrected me before I realized that it was wrong, and that is, and always will be appreciated. At least I'm not deliberately passing on false information like most of the mainstream media.
Will the congregation please give the man an Amen......And they all said...Amen. Ya know, something hit me this morning when I was posting my initial thoughts. If Comey had just answered the questions instead of offering up a lot of supposition, he probably wouldn't be in so much hot water at the present time. One of the items he did was to pass on some info to the media which he knew was wrong. Instead of sticking to what he knew was legal, he opted for an act he knew was wrong legally but right by supposition.
There is no special investigator on Hillary.Lynch, Comey, Bill but only Trump . What is wrong with this picture? We know the first lot was guilty and Trump they keep looking and nothing show up. Why do they not start with the guilty and work from there?
That's just simply unAmerican @Martin Alonzo! I am sure that in the bylaws of congress it is very clearly stated that any reasonable theory based on political agenda is acceptable in the democratic party whereas the republican party must first play a game of "mother may I" and write a 2,543 page thesis which must be read by a minimum of 8 committees before presenting anything that remotely resembles a fact. In other words, Politians just ain't happy unless they're politikin' and spending taxpayer money to do it.
