John McLaughlin, the stalwart political commentator who created television’s “McLaughlin Group,” died Tuesday at his home in Virginia. He was 89. His death came less than two days after he missed the first episode of his show in 34 years.
He definately was a well known individual. He was a legend in his field. I wonder who they will choose to lead the news show.
He will be missed. The lively show was the one to watch after the week ended to catch up on the political happenings of the week! Today on the radio station I listen to KKOL fm the oldies but goodies station locally on Oahu one of the DJ's commented that today is the day Elvis passed. R.I. P. Mr. McLaughlin.
@Krissttina Isobe Here is a link to another thread "McGlaughlin Rules". It was definitely his show, and I don't see him being replaced in the same format. It will have to be a new show. He began the show the age of 60. The word "lively" would certainly describe it!
