I always seem to end up watching these types of shows when I only have local channels. I thoroughly enjoy watching the court type shows, they are highly entertaining. There are so many stories in the news of scofflaws getting away with things, that hearing judges who are tough on those in their courtrooms, and apply common sense justice is a breath of fresh air. @Ken Anderson I have never been able to figure out the header edit. If you get a chance, could you please edit it? I somehow hit enter accidentally while I was typing it, adding The People's Court, etc.
We love these court room shows too, although I haven't seen Judge Mathis, does he sing too ? We watch Judy and we have a very camp Judge over here, some very odd people show up at his court
I will. After creating a thread, you have fifteen minutes (or maybe a half hour) to edit the title. Beneath the "Edit Tools" heading at the upper right of the OP is an option for "Edit Thread."
Thanks @Ken Anderson. I'll try to do that next time. For one reason or another, some tasks that are easy for others are just incomprehensible to me. I don't think he sings, but I also like Judge Judy and some others. It's nice to see a judge being firm, but also having a sense of humor when appropriate. They obviously select the cases based on entertainment value, but some of the people are so absurd it's incredible that they actually seem to think they have a leg to stand on.
I've watched these too. I love the relationships gone bad and the money, usually the woman, gave the man suddenly turns into a loan and the man's like "no she gave it to me. No she paid for my car repair. It wasn't a loan"
Whatever happened to Judge Joe Brown? I used to really enjoy his shows , he got so angry sometimes at the participants, he would shout and lean right over his desk...and call them all sorts of sons or daughters' of Bees...it always made me laugh.. We don't get his shows here at all now..probably not for 5 years or more, not even deeply buried on one of the hundreds of satellite channels...do you still get him in the US?
Last that I heard, Judge Mathis was taking a break from filming. He has type 2 diabetrs and he had let it get ouy of control. He was taking a break to get it better managed.
I love to watch those shows too! Some of them you would think you were watching a comedy they are so funny! Judge Mathis lets them have it sometimes. He gets very angry too. I call him the male version of Judge Judy when he gets mad. The rest of the time, he is funny with his wise cracks.
