I can highly relate to what you’re saying Marie. It isn’t just our freedom of speech that is in danger though because the entire Bill of Rights are no longer considered unalienable and given by a higher authority than a government. It was by no fluke accident that Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi are the two top people in line for the Presidency should Biden have to abdicate. Now, since Sen. Leahy isn’t going to run again, that will leave Feinstein as the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and 3rd in line for the Presidency of the United States. Like I wrote, it’s no accident and I hope we can all stiff it out.
I keep thinking of the Disney version of The Three Musketeers. When the archbishop was going to get his way, the king's old guard ran to find their tunics and weapons even though they were supposedly disbanded etc. I also loved the music.
Biden was never a rocket scientist either. He was just born with a winner's certificate. However many times he put his foot in his mouth or his hands somewhere it shouldn't be, no one who mattered was going to call him on it in any serious way. But yeah, Kamala is on another level of dumbness.
I think it's the result of extreme corruption along with the global media supporting (or repressing) everything they say and do. They get zero feedback whatsoever. They have no accountability. After a while, they cannot trust or believe themselves, since for years the overt abject lies have not been held to account, as though they may as well be truths. For them, there is no reality. I see it in her eyes every time Hillary speaks. It has got to rot the psyche.
Vice President Kamala Harris used binoculars to view North Korea from the demilitarized zone, hours after she claimed the US had a 'strong alliance' with the enemy. Video of Harris' visit to South Korean on Thursday shows the vice president, accompanied by US soldiers, marveling as she looked into North Korea. 'There's something about seeing it... with your own eyes,' Harris comments. 'And it's so close.' The service member then corrects her, saying: 'It's 50 meters [165 feet] away, mam.' 'Oh, right,' she replied. Link to article & video
When Sarah Palin made a comment about being able to see Russia from her back door (or something like that) she was highly criticized by the media, comedians and other venues. To me, Palin’s comment brought things into perspective since a major portion of our citizens are geographically ignorant but the Harris comment is nothing more than finding out that she knows how to use a pair of binoculars.
Again, Sarah Palin NEVER SAID she could see Russia from her backyard. She said "You can see Russia from Alaska", but Tina Fey changed it to "I can see Russia form my backyard" and almost everybody has taken what Fey said as a quote form Palin. You CAN see Russia from far west Alaska, but not from Sarah Palin's backyard. It is possible that Sarah has never been to Little Diomede, the island from which you can see Russia.
Upon review, you are correct of course but she also said that Russia is our (Alaska’s) neighbor which was obviously twisted by the SNL writers. Either way, even though she’s been raked over the coals about it, the statement isn’t stupid and does give a good reference point unlike the amazed childish observation made by Harris.

She went on: 'We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity.' Harris added: 'Understanding not everyone starts out at the same place, and if we want people to be in an equal place, sometimes we have to take into account those disparities.'
what a brainless twit, North Korea is our friend What I think of her is rarely, what I mostly think of is that I can't believe Americans that would vote for her
