I watched the weddings episode of Married at First Sight last night, as well as a few of the smaller behind the scenes episodes. So far, I really like all 3 of the couples this season. From the coming attractions, it appears there will be some trouble in paradise, but of course that's to be expected with strangers embarking on a new journey together. I wonder why the other 2 experts aren't on this season. Perhaps it's because they weren't able to spend the required time in the Miami area. I liked both of them, and miss them, although the replacements seem to have done a good job, in conjunction with Dr. Pepper (Schwartz), in the participant selections. I watch the show via DVR on FYI, rather than A&E, because the episodes are longer, so I get to see more than I did when I was watching it on A&E.
I have not watched every episode of these shows. I think last season was a monumental fail. Some of those scenes were painful to watch. I hope they do better this season matching couples.
I watched it last year and it went pretty much as one would expect: people chickening out on the wedding at the last minute and others uncomfortable with the wedding night. I am suprised to hear it was upped for a second season.
From the first few episodes, it seemed that they did do a better job with the matches this year. Maybe the failures of last season were why the experts were changed, although I really liked the originals. These seemed pretty solid matches, at least until I saw the coming attractions. It's difficult to say though, since of course they use the most dramatic clips to enhance interest and draw people in.
