Actually not entirely sure of the year but I just looked up 'Barefoot in the Park' on the roku. It is here! Lots of sentimental value for me. So sillly. Robert Redford and Jane Fonda remind me of my first newlywed days, especially the apartment. It is amazing you can just speak to the remote and it can pull up almost any entertainment. Some free and some paid. 'Somewhere in Time' popped up as a movie we can watch for free on youtube. I didn't care for the movie exactly but I love Mackinac Island off the UP and they actually filmed some up there. No cars are allowed on the island in real life but some were allowed for the film. The Grand Hotel looks the same.
A lot of old movies give me terrible nostalgia, remembering when people were normal and mostly kind to each other. Sigh.
I like the feel of newer movies set "back when" that try to capture a vignette of those times. "The Vast of Night" (2019) is one that I really like. It is set in a small town in 1959 and for an indie film it does a great job of using clever cinematography and storytelling. Parts of it have a black screen for minutes, with only the characters speaking.
