View attachment 45586 View attachment 45586 I had a 20' x 25' addition built onto my house to provide space for a 9' Pool Table and a 130-foot around-the-room model railroad layout.

The equipment is O-Scale, which is almost twice the size of HO Scale.

Wow that is a nice set up. Me and hubby love trains and have visited several museums over the years. When we first married had his ole Lionel train set and we had a big table he built to put it on. We had and bought all kinds of accessory's to keep our village going.
We called it Mitchellville .I still have a few things in my shadow box from those days.
Loved riding the Rock Island Express with my mother to Missouri to see grandmother. Best sleep I have ever had. Awe memories :)

I had friends who had setups similar to this. I believe theirs was HO. I have an old Marx set. If I recall, it's "N" scale.

I love the two sorrel cactus and that one lone Hereford cow. You must get some fake desert grass for the cow to eat. Also more cows and horses. A windmill would also be a nice addition.

Thanks, Faye, but my layout represents the actual stark, barren landscape as it appears just outside of my High Desert residential area. There is nary a windmill in sight throughout the entire wilderness from Victorville to the Colorado River.

I model what I see, not what there's room for!;)
