I checked out Amazon Prime Day deals just because. I came across and ordered a charging station unit for my granddaughters' tablets so no one has to wait. I had a gift card balance which reduced the amount to $10.49 including tax plus free shipping. Expecting it to arrive Friday.
It never occurred to me that washing my hands might be the problem I have with 'swiping'. I did figure it had to do with my skin's lack of 'stickiness'. I guess I will stop doing that.
Speaking of the Apple Watch, there's a good deal on the Series 9 on Prime Day specials. One drawback to the 9 is that it does not have the blood oxygen sensor, but many people don't use that feature. (I do use it so I wear my old Series 6 more than the 9.)
I ordered several items from Prime Day. A Fire Tablet 8 and a case for it, some bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths, and seeds for the Aerogardens.
New shoes that I mentioned I’d ordered while away ( I arrived home Saturday evening ) When I opened the parcel containing the new shoes that cost me $175 .00 I could smell them , it was like a B.O smell when I removed the tissue paper I could see they were secondhand shoes I don’t wear second hand shoes it’s not what I ordered …. The creases by the toe part of the shoes indicate they have been worn as well as having a smell …and dirty soles
They are on their way back to supplier by registered post @John Brunner can you just imagine with Covid and other diseases who’s had the shoes on before they were sent to me …..No Thank You .…….I don’t want second hand shoes
Me neither @John Brunner I had to put up with old second hand shoes as a youngster ..nah never again and here in Aussie land I can buy a pair brand new walking shoes in Kmart from $10
These are the same as the shoes I bought , …….that I’ve returned in the mail today … mine cost $175.00 from a shoe store that has a shop in Adelaide as well as online , they generally specialise in shoes for anyone with arch support / orthopaedic issues . I bought a White ….pair as well …same style …..they are fine but from a different seller ( got them from a online/ shopfront large department store that’s in Adelaide ) called David Jones
Op shops as Aussies call them @John Brunner have got very greedy and expensive , I used to enjoy a stroll through and buy a little item here or there but I rarely give them the time of day now as I know how expensive they are …. I believe many are now leased out on franchises ……so they are a profit making business under the disguise of a charity name .
