I like good food but like many people just accepted it as something we must do each day to stay healthy and maintain ourselves.

I always enjoyed my mother's cooking as well as meals prepared by my wives. All were good cooks.

It's hard for me to believe how much I am enjoying food now at this stage of my life. The three meals per day as a part of my monthly rent are truly gourmet and prepared by a outstanding chef that seasons food with herbs, spices and sauces that I never have had before. I never thought I would reach my present age and have food as the HIGHLIGHT of my weeks activities.

I think good food is one of life's greatest pleasures. I love to cook and enjoy a good meal made with fresh ingredients. I'd hate to think that I'd grow older and not enjoy something good to eat. I often wonder if I lived alone if I'd keep up with cooking as much as I do, though. You are lucky to have good food made for you, Lon.

I'm with you, Lon. Trying different foods is always enjoyable.

I've lived alone my entire adult life, excepting a short-lived (18 months) marriage. I cook for myself every night, and am always trying new dishes.
