The much talked-about Jade Helm exercise is set to begin on the 15th, in several of our southern states. There has been much speculation about what the exercise is actually about, with opinions running all the way from it being the start of martial law here in the United States, to other people nonchalantly saying it is just some kind of training drill, no biggie.
Now, the military has said that no members of the media will be allowed in the area, so there will not be any coverage of the drill.
If people are able to video and post pictures on youtube and facebook, we my get to see some of what is going on; but otherwise, it looks like the whole thing will be kept pretty secret.

One of the reasons that was given was because the military doe not want it to be known which branches of the military are participating.
Since they already announced that most of the special forces will be involved, then that leads to the possibility of perhaps foreign troops being involved, or something else they want kept secret.

Another one of the given reasons for media not to be allowed is because they will be conducting operations on private property.
While this could simply mean that it is out in someone's cow pasture; it also calls up visions of soldiers trampling through people's yards, and possibly their homes.
