North Korea has confirmed it destroyed an inter-Korean liaison office, as it increased the pressure on South Korea amid stalled nuclear negotiations with the US. The destruction of the building, which had been closed since January due to coronavirus fears, is a body blow a major setback to efforts by South Korean President Moon Jae-in to coax North Korea into co-operation and for a permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula.

If this is meant as the first shot of a new Korean conflict by this demented North Korean regime then its leaders must be punished before things escalate into a full blown second Korean War.

Over 30,000 American servicemen died in the 1950-53 Korean "Police Action".

I served Army active duty time in S. Korea as a member of the U.N. Occupation Forces in 1961-62.

Feel so sorry for South Korea - last year it seemed things were at last improving, what a blow for them
