Junipero Serra, founder of the great line of California Missions, tried to force the native Californians (Spanish Indians) to accept Catholicism, or they would be brutalized and enslaved, which they were.

This was just as bad as the enslavement of the Afro-Americans.

Enslavement of any people is horrible, but as we all know it has gone on for centuries and across all races.

Australian governments of the 50/60s were not actually slavers but they did remove selected indigenous children from their parents to indoctrinate them into white society. The 'first Australians' call this the stolen generation. The government line behind this at the time was so these children would have a chance at a better life. The truth, many believe, was a govt. plan to eradicate full blood indigenous natives by adopting the taken children into white families.

Among the early "Australians" was Captain Bligh. I should like to know more of his philosophy.

The Canadian Government de-natived their indigenous people by forcing children into indoctrination schools up until the 1950's

Dont know much about him @Frank Sanoica other than he was mutineered by Fletcher Christian, then set adrift in a lifeboat. Amazingly Bligh survived and made it back to England. That says a lot for the man's character.

    @Craig Wilson

Bligh was the 6th or 7th Governor of Australia.

It's true-----In a attempt to adapt to White Civilization there were some Cherokee's that learned English, became Christians and wealthy land owners with large homes and owned Black slaves. Pathetic!

The documentary "Trail of Tears"illustrates this.

The history of Indentured Servants in the United States is an interesting read. It could be a solution to some of our immigrant problems.

How so? The long-time USA citizens of all races have become indentured servants and the immigrants are reaping the benefits of their labor. It doesn't seem to be working out well even for the original citizens, the American Indian.

Those who wrok hard and labor for their survival are indentured slaves.
No race in this nation worked harder than the caucasian. Including the engineers and producers of products. Nobody benefitted more from this labor and enginuiety than the minority who enjoyed the priviledge of living in the greatest nation on earth and products of his labors.
Its not race its culture, some. Some thrive on learning aka education and need to succeed, some don't.

TheAmerican Indian has been given more credit than he deserves,Indians were warring with each others tribes lonf before the settlers came along, Also there is a question of what happend to some who may or may not have settled here before the Asians aka Eskimos aka Indians crossed the Eurasian Steppes into Midldle Americas.
I always loved history and studied it for years ,sadly most of it has been changed to suit agendas aginst cetain people. All of us are quilty and capable of wars.
I care for all people but also tired of hearing about how special some groups are and how bad others are.
It wouldn't matter to me if I didn't have family who will will get the blunt of this new world order agendas.
My family is white and not guilty of hurting anyone.
Do you understand its not against anyone just protecting the innocent.
