Yes. I was trying to upload some photos last week but I cancelled it - took too long to load. An update: It was beautiful weather last week but rain today. I have the roof, two sides and half of the rear finished and I will be working on the entrance or front access now.
@Von Jones If you make the photos smaller they will download faster. It also makes it easier to view. Anxious to see all the photos. The rubber mulch floor sounds interesting. I have rubber pavers on my patio.
My neighbor has rubber mulch and she says it definitely has kept the weeds down. Although I won't have that problem because it's all dirt it looks a lot neater than the wood mulch. Rubber pavers? I'll have to check those out.
@Von Jones @Beth Gallagher I bought them several years ago at Home Depot to resurface my old cracked concrete patio. They were spendy but easy to lay with clips. They can be removed very easily. You can glue them down, but I opted for the clips. They are made from recycled tires. They smelled like a tire recapping factory for a few months. They are nice if you fall or drop something. They do get water stains that cannot be removed, but that just gives them character. All in all, I like them. They are about 1/2" thick and after 10 years, I see no sign of wear. They are a red brick color when new and as you can see get a whitewash from minerals in the water. I think they have an earthy look and everyone is surprised that they are rubber and how nice they are to walk or stand on.
I did check those pavers out and 'spendy' they are. Nice, but not for the shed. I might consider them for the same reason you did though. There are cracks in the shape of a 'y' going through our cement patio.
Yay for diy women! I like it! I like the paint job too. You did good. What else do you diy? @Von Jones
I have a ceiling repair that could use fixing. You're very welcome to come show me the ropes. I've diy'ed a lot of things over the years but I have not worked with ceiling damage before. I'm not looking forward to it at all. @Von Jones
I wish had these instead of my bricks for the few times I've fallen out there. I love the look of the bricks but these would be much easier in a fall.
Thanks. I do a lot of basic stuff around the house that I feel capable of doing after watching Youtube videos, speaking to guys at the flea market on how-to and reading. During these times I'm building up my 'I can do this.' confidence. Right now I'm building a small shed from discarded materials (wood/lumber mostly) I've come across. The biggest outside project I've ever done using brains and muscle. I only asked for help from my husband and son twice since I began. There are projects I've done posted but I can't for sure tell you the title(s) of the thread(s) because I always get it/them wrong myself.
The reason I love it, we are two peas in a pod. I've always been into diy projects and have self-taught (thru study and trial and error) myself many hobbies and things over the years. I've also enjoyed taking trash to treasure many times. Imagination and creativity is a marvelous thing! @Von Jones
