When we had nothing to for the weekend and the weather is promising, we go to a campsite and stay there overnight, cooking barbecue and sleeping in a tent. Considering that I am city-bred, that activity is exciting for me even if there were only my husband and me. It's like a simple getaway to allow our minds to re-energize and cleanse ourselves of stress.

The campsite is called Nature's Discovery Camp which is just 2 hours drive from our home. It has facilities like bathroom, electricity, and also has a swimming pool. But the main fare of the site is the view of the Taal Volcano and the lake where it is situated. And a bonus is when we go home, there are lots of treats that we can buy along the way, from fruits up to pastries.

I like camping as long as I am out in nature. I find the sights and sounds of nature soothes my brain and my spirit. I would love to have an acre to which I could escape the sounds of the city and be able to move at my own pace.

I love to camp but I don't have anyone to go with. I used to go a lot with my ex who still wants me to go with him, but he drives me nuts..and I really don't think tent camping even on an air mattress is something I want to do at my age. I need a pop up! I might go with him once in the Fall to just get out of here for a while. Actually, maybe cabin camping will work. I know a couple of places that have cheap cabins for camping, and no set up and tear down is required.:)

Sounds nice. For me though I like to go to a cabin now days unlike when I was young. At least 2 or three cars going to camp sites where we'd make a fire and fish with the 2 cars for walls to protect us. Not now at my age no thanks to camping. I like a bed to sleep in always.

Enjoy your time away, come back refreshed! Camping is fun if it's not too basic.
