Part of life I'm a real man, I'm not afraid of anything. Yeah right I worry about my children , friends, and relatives And of course my wife I know it's all part of life Their sorrow and pain At times puts me under a lot of strain Don't forget there strife I know it's all part of life For them when things don't go right I encourage them to stand up and fight I tried to teach life's lesson and the like I know it's all part of life 1994 By Tony
@Tony Page Excellent, I see you are into poetry. If you have a few of these, why not get them published. For starters, maybe in newspapers. Have you already ventured into doing so? Or are you a famous poet, with an unknown face!
I've written probably about a hundred poems 4 more than half of them away I just kept a few that I really liked. I'm not famous I just write when I get certain feeling. Example while driving home from work one day I wrote a poem call Campfire story took 20 minutes, I got the urge to write because a co-worker was telling me about this weekend with the Boy Scouts so I used his name in the poem. He is told me they read my poem and meetings. When does the thought in my head I have to write about it and most times it's a poem. Thank you very much I appreciate your comments and by the way I haven't published any poems
I like this poem above very much. If you ever get the urge to publish a collection, there is platform called Smashwords where you can do that for free, plus the hassle of formatting your manuscript in the way that will display best on most online reader apps. It's the platform I'm using currently for my writings. Happy to provide more info if desired.
