    It cracks me up when one side or the other (they all do it, probably because it plays well with the public) accuses the opposition party of playing politics with some bill that has come before the legislature. Of course, they're playing politics. They're politicians, and that's what they do.

    Similarly humorous are the frequent calls for bipartisanship. Why do we have more than one political party if we expect them to agree? In fact, it seems to me that we're never in more danger than when both political parties are working together on something.
