I’d been trying to log into here since about this time yesterday without success.

I’d googled the issue hoping to come up with a solution to the frustrating issue that prevented me even bringing up the site .

What was happening was as soon as I tried logging on , a full page would pop up giving me all the information
about our recently installed home internet modem, it didn’t matter if I googled SOC or tried logging in through
the bookmark I was getting the same thing .

I deleted bookmarks / apps I hadn’t used in months did a forced shutdown on my iPad, googled deleting history nothing worked so out of frustration I asked our neighbour who more experienced with computers than us …after he fiddled for over an hour he deleted the cache ( what ever that is ) like cookies?
I believe so, I’m BACK on board after a few frustrating hours.

We only had the home internet connected about a month ago …..

.it’s the first time we’ve actually had the net connected to our home or our previous home in Adelaide ,we’ve always relied on a simple mobile WIFI in the past so it’s a good learning experience

I had an issue last Monday where a Windows update did not complete properly, and would not load my User Profile when I restarted...it was a default generic profile with no Desktop shortcuts, no app shortcuts, and no Firefox profile. I did not have my FF saved website logins available.

I was able to open a browser and found all sorts of fixes I did not want to attempt, and then one article said some folks were able to fix this by rebooting several times (which eventually got the Update Routine to finish properly.) That worked.

I was freaking out. What a pain these can be.
