Awhile ago, bought a mango..and thought I'd try to 'get a plant' out of the seed..read how to...put it in water...nothing.

    Why not? Hmmm!!

Has anyone ever done...and, any success?

    (I've gotten two..from avocado seed(s))

I know nothing about growing mangos. Avocados are very easy to get a sprout from however, as are many citrus fruits. Don't count on getting fruit from a house plant, however, except for the plants bred for such.
