I buy Archie comics whenever I would go to the bookstore. And although the trip to the bookstore is just once or twice a year, my comics are piling up because I seem to forget it and when I remember, I have no time to read it. Some of those comics are still inside the plastic wrapper.

Just recently, my husband is experiencing symptoms of hypertension and the doctor is planning to prescribe him maintenance medication - my husband has an appointment with his doctor today, Monday. In his first consultation, the doctor said for him to read comics. And the doctor emphasized that comics is not only for the kids, in fact, it is a good therapy for hypertension because of 2 things - 1) you get entertained by the humor and 2) your subconscious goes back to the olden days when you were young. That's short of saying that your physical and mental faculties are in a reminiscing mode thereby momentarily forgetting the present... including your health issues.

PS. I am not advertising Archie comics, hahahaaah.

Ha ha, I liked comics as a child but can't read them now. Not even Adult ones, I've never seen one but I'm sure
    They exist.

    I did like Archie though...

My favourite comics were Richie Rich and Little Dot - I love 'dots' like she did :p
