Many are low or even deficient in potassium, look up RDA on adults and potassium needs. I take extra every day and I know I don't get enough potassium rich foods....I've been working on this one for years.
Most of our food has been engineered so its not what it used to be.15 years ago I was on 'Organic Gardening' site and learned lots of things I really didn't need to know it is a good example of " Ignorance is Bliss". Much of uur vitamins are from China or other nations, we don't manufacture anything much.
Maybe red wine is like Granny Clampett's rheumatiz medicine. It doesn't cure it but it makes having it a pure pleasure.

I seldom drink and that was usually a beer, maybe 2 every few months. Last time I drank wine was one month ago till this week but I'm thinking about drinking a couple glasses a week if I can get the taste for it that often.
