The british musician, who was best known for the 1969 hit 'Where Do You Go To My Lovely', passed away after a six-year battle with progressive supranuclear palsy.

Sorry to hear that @Holly Saunders I hadn't heard of him, but I may recognize his music. I'll go listen, denise

PS I recognize the style, folks-singing right? Like Peter, Paul and Mary. I heard a lot of that when I was young:) They sang Puff the Magic Dragon, used to love that song.

Yes almost , Denise , ...he wasn't really a folk singer .his genre was classed as pop but you're right it did have a folksy style about it... he was much more of a songwriter..

Not quite like Peter paul and Mary tho' .....but I also remember Puff the Magic dragon... we used to sing it a lot when we were kids...my husband hates that song so much..:D
