This is a amazing to find out. These certainly weren't the states I was expecting to see. I was certain that my home state of Arizona would make that list along with California. But apparently not its the counties in the center of the map that seem to have the highest risk. So apparently this doctor has a valid point, where the sun is the hottest are in the lower risk rate at least according to this study.

I know I tend to stay indoors in the 'Summer', since it's oppressively hot, but when I lived in Massachusetts, I would be outside much of the Summer. But, I tend to be outside more of the year here. I believe the Sun has healing properties, everything in moderation.

The Dr. Williams I mentioned is big on alternative medicine. He believes the increased popularity of sunscreens, touted by the mainstream, is going to lead to an increase in the rate of skin cancers.
He does stress to avoid getting sunburned.

What is one of the bodies protection from cancer is vitamin D. How is vitamin D made? The body makes it. Using cholesterol and sun light. Who told us that cholesterol was bad the people who make money off you being sick. Who told you to stay out of the sun the people who make money off cancer.

@Sheldon Scott I have heard that there's a possible correlation between the increased use of sunscreens and incidences of skin cancer. I truly believe that @Martin Alonzo. It's hard to believe that people who supposedly care and want to help people could be so evil, but many nowadays worship money as their god, and that's all they care about.

I was just reading another article about using regular iodine to treat skin problems that could turn into skin cancers. It said that the iodine will kill anything that is infecting the skin, and then either dry it up or make a scab which then dries up and falls off. Once that happens; you can brand new un-infected skin again.
According to the article, you just dab regular iodine on the sore spot once or twice a days until it goes away.
Iodine is just good for so many things, and yet it is almost a forgotten substance nowdays.
