A quick Wikipedia explanation of SUMMARY EXECUTION is where a person is accused of a crime and immediately killed without benefit of a full and fair trial.

There isn't, but could be a situation where a person or persons are arrested for the most heinous and despicable acts where they admit their crime and or there is overwhelming evidence that they did the crime and a judge rules that they are guilty. I am thinking for example the recent Chicago shootings.
I could readily support Summary Executions for the perpetrators. Not even short term Incarceration, perform the execution within 24 hrs. of a judges decision.
I could also support Summary Executions for anyone charged with their 4th 5th 6th etc FELONY. To hell with this rehabilitation nonsense and long term incarceration. It's not working and there are people in this world that have done things so bad and do so on a continuing basis and in my opinion have forfeited all rights to continue life.

OK LIBERALS Jump all over me for this post, but I am sick of the liberal approach that the so called Criminal Justice System has taken. Let's have a Peace Loving Orderly Society.

Would you believe that we have a word for summary execution which is salvage? Yeah, when someone says the dead person was salvaged, that means he was summarily executed. I don't know the origin of that usage of salvage but it got popular sometime in the 1980s. Now we have lots of salvaging mostly of drug related cases - drug pushers or users - that is the content of the evening news which never fails to report deaths thru salvaging. But another word is rising lately which can soon replace salvage - EJK, that's a cute acronym for extra judicial killing.

I have never heard the word salvage used in that way. It is kind of a scary way to use it as the country isn't salvaging the person at all. Maybe it is meant to be used in terms of society, ie. "We are salvaging or saving society by eliminating these people'.

Sometimes you do not need a trail for example a suicide bomber he is judge jury and executioner. The only thing that is correct he/she will never do it again.

A commonly-seen bumper-sticker type sign often seen for sale amongst members of the Gun Culture is, "Kill them all. Let God sort them out".
